EVALUATION:
I am very happy with my website and progress throughout this project. At the start of this brief I didn't know anything about website coding or how to make a successful website. I think that I have developed a lot of skills and have used most of the lessons learned on Codecademy to build up my website almost from scratch. There were a lot of hiccups along the way as I damaged part of my code forcing me to start over but it taught me to regularly test the website in Chrome to check any changes made have worked without distorting the other areas of the website. I decided to go with an informal style with a basic grid format to create a welcoming design with an easy to use layout. I have implemented a number of the clients specifications in the brief (social networks, image slideshow, fresh events page) while appealing to the target audience of schools and communities looking for an interesting but proffessional look for the business. It has a lot of features that needed customising and editing in both css and html.
Overall, I am happy with the achievement I have made in building a website that is cohesive and detailed in content but there is much more I would like to have added - had I more time - mainly to complete all of the pages fully as well as having more advanced features like an on site interactive booking form to have a more complete experience for the user.
